The unreel.me player is a playground for fans, a carnival for users, an amusement park for spectators, a...well you get the idea; its easily the funnest way to watch videos around. There are a ton of cool features on the unreel player that can not be found anywhere else. Follow along for some tips on how to get the most out of the Unreel video player, from pressing the play button to start the video, to creating viral worthy MEMES and GIFs.
Part 1: The simple stuff (Skip if you've ever watched videos online; if you haven't, welcome back to the surface world from living under a rock /|:)
Play and Pause:
Once you have selected a video you will be taken into the Unreel video player. The video will automatically begin to play. To pause you can click anywhere on the video or the two parallel lines at the bottom left of the player, also known as the "pause button. To play a paused video you can click anywhere on the video, or the triangle icon at the bottom left hand of the player, otherwise known on this planet as the "play button."
To mute the volume of a video, select the megaphone icon located at the bottom right of the player. To un-mute a video, select the megaphone icon once again. To adjust the volume of a video, use your computer's volume control, or cover your ears.
Want to have the video you are watching take up your entire screen? Press the four corners icon at the bottom right hand side of the player. Too big? To exit full screen press the four corners icon once again, the escape button on your computer, or back away from the screen until it is once again the desired size.
To quickly navigate videos in a channel, use the left facing back arrow icon located at the bottom right hand corner of the player to go back to the last video you watched. To move on to the next video in the channel select the right facing forward icon. Going 88 mph in a DeLorean will also take you back several videos.
Part 2: Unreal Unreel features
To instantly GIF and MEME any moment, select the "GIF" icon on the bottom right side of the player. To view GIFS/MEMES you have made, select the top tab on the upper left side of the player with the unreel bulb icon on it. Then select the header with the title "GIFS" to learn more, follow this lesson.
Create/share time-stamped moment
To create a time stamped comment select the top tab on the upper left side of the player with the unreel bulb icon on it. Then select the section with the comment icon on the header. Follow this lesson to learn how to add your own time stamped comments and share them
Want to see thumbnails of other videos in a channel without leaving the video you are on? If you said yes, than look no further then out Channel Queue. To access it, select the tab with a queue icon on the upper right hand side of the player. A scrollable list of videos on the channel will appear. To jump to any specific video simply click it! Share a video:
To share a video select the tab with the share icon located in the upper right hand side of the player. You will then have the option to share that video on social media, or copy a link of the video to paste anywhere. Should your wifi go out, shouting from a mountain top is another good way of sharing a video.
